About Bhaswati

Bhaswati Sinha is a contemporary figurative visual artist whose work explores the emotional power of light as a universal language of hope, resilience, and human connection. Inspired by the glow she observes in everyday life, she creates expressive realist paintings distinguished by luminous chiaroscuro, confident brushwork, layered textures, and compelling visual narratives that encourage viewers to believe in themselves.

Working primarily in mixed-media oil, Bhaswati combines undelayering with, acrylic foundations, and luminous oil glazes to create depth, atmosphere, and a sense of mystery. Her work balances vibrant color with dramatic light to transform ordinary moments into timeless emotional experiences.

Rooted in both traditional artistic principles and contemporary expression, her practice extends beyond the studio into public art, where she creates meaningful, site-specific works that inspire, heal, and strengthen community connections. Through every painting, Bhaswati invites viewers to discover beauty, hope, and possibility through the transformative power of light.

Bhaswati took an intensive art mastery program studying old master skills and techniques in Milan Art Institute, AZ, USA.

Bhaswati conducts In-Person/Online Art Classes/ Workshops. Contact Bhaswati for details.
